Hat #35

Another loss by the Lightning ⚡️ unfortunately but I did finish another hat for donation.

Pattern is Broken Rib Hat found free on Ravelry at this link. You’ll have noticed that I tend to use the same group of patterns for my hats but I do try to add a couple new ones to the mix each year and this was the 2nd new one. Both of them will make it into my annual hat knitting season.

There’s a week left in the The Knit and Fundraise event on Facebook for the American Cancer Society and then I’ll be moving on to crochet blankets and scarves for my yarn projects.

Thanks to those of you that have already supported my efforts … if you’d like to make a donation you can click on this link and it will take you to my fundraising page.

I did get downstairs today and made more 16 patch blocks … another 2-3 piecing sessions and I should have those blocks finished but tomorrow is football Sunday so I’ll be knitting!

  1. Nice hat, but I seem to like them more with the ribbed band at the bottom. Do any of their hats just use the plain two needles as I never learnt how to use the circular needles.
