We started the day with no power … after about 7 hours they got it back on. Of course today is the day we needed to get things ready for Chris, Becky and the girls who are going to stay over tomorrow night and spend Christmas Eve day with us.
However … I didn’t need power to get these ready for donation … dolls, bears, a dino, and a monkey! How’s that for an assortment? All wrapped up in their little quilts.

I’m really lucky that Mom has made a bunch of these little quilts because I’m a lot slower … I’ve got 2-3 little tops waiting for quilting and I’ll have to get them finished up for next time. I’m hoping Mom will want to continue to help. These go to an organization in Marietta that works with abused kids and it makes my heart feel good that they’ll have something to hold on to and cuddle during difficult times.
I’ve also got a couple crochet blankets to donate along with them.

They’ll all go back home with Becky and she’ll get them donated for me.
So cute. Children who need love get these darling packages.
Have a Merry Christmas (Eve), Mary! That’s a nice batch of donation bundles. They are sure to please the little ones who receive them!
Those sure are cute, any child would love to have them!
The afghans will keep someone nice and warm this winter.
You do such great work 👏
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Love your sweet quilts to go along with your dolls, bears, & more. Merry Christmas to you & yours.❤️🎄🎄🎄❤️
Everything is beautiful! Where did you get the little dolls from? They are adorable. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Oh my – so cute! I also have 2-3 doll quilt tops ready to sandwich, but they got buried under some other projects this fall.
The animals and baby quilts will be such a comfort. They are adorable.
Happy Holidays.
Merry Christmas! There will be happy children because of you and your mom. So cute and the blankets are beautiful.
Enjoy your time with Chris and family. The assortment of dolls and afghans are all beautiful and are sure to be well loved. I wish you and your family healthy and happy holiday.
What a wonderful collection of little quilts, Mary! They’ll bring comfort to some needy little children. And your afghans are beautiful. Love the colors.
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas. I know you’ll enjoy your time together.
My daughter works with kids in situations of abuse, neglect or families uprooted by tragedy and these situations are often softened by the distraction and comfort of this type of donation. Thank you Mary and Mom for doing this and in such a fun way. Happy Christmas to you and your family.
The donation toy sets are so cute! Have a wonderful Christmas!
What adorable bundles of love! The children are going to love these comfort buddies.
