Since I didn’t have to add borders to the 16 patch quilt I decided I’d piece a little doll/bear quilt.
It’s always easier to go ahead and piece those “leftover” little quilts right after I finish the larger ones but it doesn’t always happen and and I have a bin with baggies full of leftovers from various quilts so I pulled out baggie today and this is what I did. Funny thing is I don’t even remember the quilt that these fabrics are leftover from … they’ve obviously have been in the bin a long, long time!

No telling what else is in there!

Amazing, Mary!! 🤩👏💐
What a darling little “mystery” quilt!
Good thinking on keeping the scrap sets together, Mary! I tend to “file” mine by color, taking most quilt groupings apart once the quilt is done. Certain sets will be kept together, though
I wish I could see the potential of a bag of scraps as quickly and well as you.
I did the same thing this week – came across a couple of pieces (not even enough to do anything with) of a cute frog print. I know I bought the fabric – I just don’t remember anything that I made with it! Lol
I do enjoy little quilts. And having fabric that already looks great together is perfect. Such a good idea…
