The linen stitch blanket is done – finished tonight while we watched the Bolts win … that’s 7 wins in a row and I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll continue to play well through the end of the season.
I use a pattern from a kit I bought several years ago for these but you can find free instructions for a similar blanket at this link. I love this stitch with the Mandala Ombré yarn!

I had an unplanned appointment in Canton today so I just had enough time in the sewing room to sew some backings and cut batting for a couple little quilts that will go to VA with me. I’ve got a couple from the last trip that need to be finished too.
On the way home from my appointment, I might have stopped in at a couple Dollar General stores that I passed … yep, more critters came home with me.

I hope the unplanned appointment was not complications in your healing process.
Best of luck. Spring is on the way!
I choose not to guess what your appointment was for but I do hope another great trip ti VA is in your future.
The blanket is fantastic. Linen stitch in colors I love mean I think it is perfect!
That blanket turned out very pretty!
