I find that I spend too much time trying new and modern quilt designs. It is fun and feels creative, but every now and then I pull up a simple classic pattern and it is so refreshing! Quick and cute!

The Churn Dash is a pattern I made early on when I became a quilter. I call that quilt my happy quilt because of the fabrics. These fabrics also are special as they go together so well. I really like the backing too. Some child will curl up with this quilt.
Love the simple but very special quilt. KISS works in this case. Of course your ability to pick perfect color combinations helps.
