Not much sewing the last week … mostly prep work for the trip and medical appointments but I did sew tonight after Keith went to bed. Quilted this little one that was donated during our HeartStrings project and I’ll get the binding sewn down tomorrow while I visit with Mom.
Happy Easter Monday! Enjoy your time with your mom. The special bond of the fiber arts with family is so very dear. My own mom didn’t do any, but was a great reader. My daughter and I have been crocheting together for the past couple of months on charity projects. It’s been a very special time for me. Someday I hope to teach my granddaughters. They are only 7 and 4, but they love what Gramma makes for them.
So pretty and another thing to be gifted to someone who is in need at the moment it is shared. Never forget the gits you give.
