I head home tomorrow but this has been a great visit with family and friends. Looking forward to being back in June.
Last night I picked Mom up and brought her over to the apartment for dinner … on the way home, we might have had to drive by the ice cream place 🙂
She thinks this is a bad photo … and the wind was blowing but I think it’s a good one!

Today we had lunch out … Six of us but I only snapped one photo – Kevin and his daughter Erin who’s going to be a neighbor of mine here soon.

I’ve been cleaning and doing laundry … have some packing to finish up but I might just get a little binding done this evening too … we’ll see.
The shot of your mom is evocative of the iconic “Windblown Jackie” photograph. It’s always great to see her enjoying life!
Your visits are always packed with family, friends and quilting.
So happy your Virginia trip was filled with much family time nothing better.
Great photo of your mom. So nice that you can stitch with her often.
That is a lovely photo of your mom enjoying life!
Love a girl who loves ice cream! Nice that your niece will be close by.

Every photo is a good one when there is a genuine smile showing up, wind blown hair or not. And your mom has such a great smile. Safe travels home!!
I didn’t pay attention to the windblown hair, I was focused on the smile that is almost identical to yours!
It’s a great picture of your mom and I’m so glad you have this time together. I lost my
Mom in January and I’m sometimes forget I can’t pick up the phone to call her.
