This felt like a normal day for me … I sewed some Log Cabin Heart blocks, Keith and I went out to a movie and to dinner, and when he and Finn went to bed, I came downstairs and got the binding on the Disappearing 9 Patch and got it stitched down.
There are lots of patterns for this block but I didn’t use one … I did use the technique of making a 9 patch block and then slicing and twisting the sections before reassembling them … I wrote some quilt notes for my quilt using charm squares and they’re posted on my website at this link.

I just received a group of charm squares and there was one group I just wasn’t sure how to use but this picture solved my problem. I love this quilt and I think this will be perfect for my new charm squares. Happy Mother’s Day Mary.
