Challenges

So I think I overcame one of my challenges today … there was no sewing because I had an appointment in Atlanta at Emory. Luckily things went well and no follow up is needed at this point.

Keith drove me to the appointment and was able to set up in the Starbucks on site and take his calls. I’m lucky to have him!!

I’ve got an appointment at the oncologist office tomorrow for labs … but I’m hoping to get some sewing done when I get home.

I’m still struggling to adjust to my new normal which involves lots of appointments and the need for more rest than normal but I think things are definitely better overall.

  1. Our roads are seldom smooth Mary, but for me ,since change is my only constant, I try to anticipate with some joy, what the next bend may bring. It’s not always easy for sure, but having support as you have with family sure helps. Hope the sewing happens for you today

  2. I’m right there with Lynn and Kat, as life throws us many curve balls. But through prayer and a positive attitude, we can be resilient in the face of any and all challenges Definitely a loving and supportive spouse makes the road less bumpy. ❤️

  3. I’m glad Keith is there with you and that health things are improving, slow but sure. 🩷

  4. Yay for good news! And yay for having a life partner who is present no matter what 🩷🩷

  5. Your new normal is not the same but you are doing great. You create good things, you love so many so much and you find joy in the world. You are amazing.

  6. I know from experience it is a long haul but you strike me as a person who sees a bright spot in every day. Wishing you all the best.

  7. I love your posts and your sharing about your health. You are blessed by a loving family and strong spirit. If you can’t sew as much as you’d like I know you will find other ways to share your love with others. Maybe your body needs a few more naps on the porch or a visit to a church for meditation. I will pray for you.

  8. Great news, Mary! Keith seems like such a good guy. Glad you have him! (And I’m sure you’re glad too!)
