I was wondering what I should quilt on the Blue 16 Patch and decided I’d look back at a few others – the search feature on my blog is definitely helpful with things like this.
I decided to use Jilly … the one on the top right.

I love that I can change the size of my pantographs but I don’t always get it just right … I went with 9 inches and after a bit I’d wished I’d gone with 8 inches.

In the end, I’m happy with the results but I really do need to jot down some notes on the best sizes for these because my memory is definitely suffering from the fatigue and meds!!
As I was closing up the longarm room and putting the blind down I glanced out and saw this visitor … I almost missed her.

This time of year we see a lot of deer just sitting in the yard … and from the images on my cameras I expect it’s because they’re “expecting”! Looking forward to seeing babies before too long.
That deer’s camo is very effective!
We’re always more critical of our own work, but I think it looks fantastic. And so to the others you have made in the past.
I also live in a wooded area and love seeing nature up close. Several years ago, I watched a baby deer being born. It was a special moment for me. Made my day.
It makes a statement. I don’t know if it would have spoken louder and more clearly with a different sized panto but I like it as it is.
We are seeing lots of deer and turkeys just sitting. Probably for the same reason. And last night we had an opossum on the deck eating out of the cat food dish. So I guess my hubbie is feeding more than just a couple of feral kitties.
