We had an unexpected change in plans – we’d planned to spend the weekend visiting Adam and the kids but unfortunately Keith came home from his business trip with COVID.
That did allow me to get the Hourglass quilt bound today.
Of course, I’m sad to be missing our visit with Adam and I’m hoping Keith feels better soon. We’re doing our best to try and make sure I don’t get sick too.
Hopefully we can plan a visit with these 3 when we get back from VA… which is probably going to be delayed a few days.

I hope Keith feels better soon. This year’s COVID is supposed to be problematic and I don’t want problems for you or your mother. You will handle this correctly and life will go on. Please spoil him because that is always welcomed when you feel ill.
Seems like COVID never ends! Not holding out much hope with the current regime. On the other hand, love your hourglass quilt! I need to make a new one, My 20 year old HG quilt may just be beyond repair! Hope Keith feels better soon! Hope you don’t get it!

Was just discussing this today with friends over lunch–5 years ago that could’ve been a death sentence! It’s still not fun, and I hope Keith recovers quickly.

Mary, I just saw a really slick longarm basting trick I’d like to share with you and your readers. Zippers on a roll. MerryMabelMarket has a large-toothed continuous zipper stitched to her leaders. Then she pins the zipper’s mate to the quilt top and bottom and zips them up. That is the slickest thing I’ve ever seen.
