I seem to be making a lot of wrong decisions in the sewing room these days … being away from the stash doesn’t help.
I started a quilt today … it’s too pink! So it will become a little quilt and be wrapped around a critter.

Luckily, I have plenty of these three fabrics so I changed the placement in the double 4 patch blocks and I like this better.

I haven’t decided for sure if I’m going to border this or not but I think this is where I’m going with this one …

A little pink can go a long way. Your solution looks like it will work well.
ps–Side story. The master bedroom in the first house we bought when we got married was PLASTIC PIG PINK! You can bet that didn’t last long. It took KILZ paint to cover it.
I didn’t dislike the small version of the first one, but the second one was much better! I like where you’re going with it!
Oh I don’t think it is too pink – Pink lovers will swoon
I do however LOVE the blue one too!
Agreed! The pink seems overwhelming whereas, with the blue, it becomes an accent that is perfect!
I didn’t really see anything wrong with your pink blocks until I saw your replacement blue blocks. Yes, WAY better!!!
I think you have made a wise decision but you need borders in my opinion. BTW my opinion and 5 bucks may get you a cup of coffee.
I think the pink is lovely, but the blue is nice, too. Having the option to change sizes part way . through is great. I’ve decided I shouldn’t look closely at your shopping sprees. I also bought five sets of the half-yard bundles, just because the colors were so pretty!
With how pale the alternate blocks are, yes, the more blue blocks work best.
