WOW so many memories here!! Keith was living in VA Beach when we started dating … his office was in Newport News and we met at Williamsburg Community Hospital where I was working at the time. We lived here together for almost a year before we moved to Florida.
One great thing about being in VA so often now is the ability to meet up with old friends …. His and mine.
He worked with Greg
….and we were friends with him and his wife Diane. I can’t believe I didn’t see them for about 35 years but we connected again easily and I have had so much fun meeting up with them again.
Rita is my friend from nursing school and even after we moved away I would see her when I visited Mom in Newport News but after Mom moved in with my sister Maureen, I hadn’t seen Rita in a number of years either … and we have hooked up again since I’m spending more time in VA even though she lives about 3.5 hours from our apartment. She came to the beach tonight to meet us for dinner … the 6 of us had a great time.
So happy you are renewing friendships and that you are indeed having fun as you travel.
