After having brunch with Adam and the kids, I had a couple hours downstairs… got a top loaded on the longarm and made more blue string blocks.
After Keith and Finn went to bed, I went downstairs again. I was really tempted to keep working on the string blocks but I made myself go in and quilt the Framed 9 Patch top I’d loaded earlier.
Pantograph is Chantilly Lace – an oldy but goody!

I love this quilt! The colors are so soothing and having the frame around the nine patch is such a good idea. It’s a simple quilt but so very nice. I don’t think quilts have to be complicated or have a multitude of pieces to be wonderful. This one feels like home to me. Great job, Mary!
A terrific belated happy birthday to you. What fun shenanigans you had 🙂
Such pretty colors. And another great block.
Hi Mary. I just had to pop in to say that you’re strippie pattern is getting one heck of a workout on this new YouTube video posted today from MerryMabelMarket. It’s so nice that your free pattern is helping other quilters make beautiful quilts for charity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1JTJrhGOUc
Such a pretty 9 patch. These soft colors will appeal to a young girl (and maybe old ones too). 9 patch quilts always seem to do a great job.
Great job on pantograph. It really lifts the interest in the nine patch which was already a great color and pattern combination.
Very nice.
