Hat #3

I finished Hat #3 watching the Washington Commanders lose their game tonight. Lucky for me, the Bolts won their game earlier. Hockey and Football season is knitting and crochet season around here!

This is Gloria’s Knit Beanie, a free pattern found on the Knots of Love site at this link.

I will be setting a couple of these aside in case I need them. I’m getting my port put in next week and after some more testing will be starting chemotherapy for cancer #3, a Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

  1. So sorry, Mary! I hope your treatments won’t be hard on you. How many will you need?
I will be praying for you.

  2. I’ll try that one next. The purple is so pretty. I’m working on a very basic ribbed cap in a yummy burnt orange right now.

  3. I’ll be praying for you. I’m glad Keith will be there to keep you and Finn company. 🙏💕

  4. I am so sorry you have to go through this again. Your positive attitude towards it all is very commendable. Sending positive energy.

  5. I am so sorry Mary. Lymphoma should react well to the chemotherapy. You are in my prayers for a quick port surgery and chemotherapy without side effects. You got this!

  6. Oh Mary- we are all pulling for you as we know you can beat this once again. Sending prayers for a swift recovery.

  7. Thinking of you and your chemo journey. Love the pretty hat!! Makes me want to learn to knit better!!

  8. Your charity sewing/ knitting inspires me to do more, you’re such a light in the darkness.
Prayers for you in this new cancer journey. I’m sending a gentle hug to you in this email.

  9. I hope the treatment all goes smoothly for you. One of my best friends is on a maintenance treatment for her Non-Hodgekin’s. As time passes, her monitoring and meds have become further apart as things have looked good for her.
