This month’s challenge is Jelly Rolls … I’m getting a late start but I’m OK with that. I have TONS of Jelly Rolls. I have an addiction to them and Fat Quarter bundles and for years I found great prices on them so I’ve got plenty of them to keep me busy during our “retirement years”.
I haven’t decided whether I’m making 12 or 20 blocks for this quilt but I’m leaning toward the 20. I love my white board above my cutting table – I can quickly calculate the variations I’m considering.

I’m using a quick and easy pattern for Jelly Rolls but I have made these from scraps and fat quarters in the past. I’ve paired up my strips and I’ll be adding some fabrics from stash too.

And I made a start on piecing the blocks.

Those are great-looking blocks!
Super blocks and lovely Autumn colours. I couldn’t believe you are back to more chemo. I pray that this will be gone quickly and that no more returns. I made the mistake of having surgery on my left index finger. They forgot to tell me I would have NO left hand for a couple of weeks. Thank goodness I am right handed and great neighbours to get me a little precooked food. I was not fully prepared. No sewing since beginning of Sept. Driving me crazy. All the best with this next chemo treatment. You are a great warrior.
I always thought this quilt block would be challenging, can’t believe how easy it is! I downloaded the instructions, thanks. I hope your new treatments don’t take too much out of you. You’re in my prayers, so sorry you have to go through this again. Take care! ❤️
I love this block, and I’m looking forward to seeing the quilt come together.
Love, love, love this pattern. Thank you for sharing.
