Quilted

Today was a productive day! After a walk, I went downstairs and knit a little to “rest” after my walk and then I trimmed one quilt, loaded another … and got borders added to a group top pieced by Valerie to make it a lap size quilt.

It looks a little better in person I think where my tree fabric is more visible. I like all the greens together!

After Keith and Finn went to bed, I went back downstairs and quilted this top also pieced by Valerie. Again, I added the final border to make it a lap size quilt.

It’s nice to have a large stash when I’m finishing group quilts – borders when I add them and bindings come from my stash and backings also unless I have one of Tish’s backs that works like I did with this one!!

  1. Love that unique green tree fabric…both quilts are beautiful but I especially like the orange, red, gold leaves! – Beth in AL

  2. Beautiful quilts! You are so generous with both your time and resources even when you are going thru all of your health issues.
