Today was a productive day! After a walk, I went downstairs and knit a little to “rest” after my walk and then I trimmed one quilt, loaded another … and got borders added to a group top pieced by Valerie to make it a lap size quilt.

It looks a little better in person I think where my tree fabric is more visible. I like all the greens together!

After Keith and Finn went to bed, I went back downstairs and quilted this top also pieced by Valerie. Again, I added the final border to make it a lap size quilt.
It’s nice to have a large stash when I’m finishing group quilts – borders when I add them and bindings come from my stash and backings also unless I have one of Tish’s backs that works like I did with this one!!

Both quilts are very pretty. I like the tree fabric you used for a border.
Nice quilts, Mary. Kudos for completion.
Love that leafy outer border!

Beautiful quilts! You are so generous with both your time and resources even when you are going thru all of your health issues.
That tree fabric is cool!! It works well with the quilt!
I really like how you finished off the green one.
Thanks, great inspiration of what I can do with some of my extensive stash!
I Love how both of these turned out. The colors are spectacular.
