Hat #32

This one was finished a few days ago but I’m just now getting downstairs to photograph it. I need to make some larger guy hats … this latest batch have all be women’s sizes.

Pattern is Ross and it’s found free on Ravelry at this link. He had an older pattern that had the 90 stitch hat with worsted weight yarn and that’s the one I used. He has multiple sizes in the new pattern but only an 80 stitch hat in the worsted weight.

I didn’t expect to get downstairs today, just had my chemo all day Tuesday and had more immediate side effects but they’ve eased up a little and I had to be up at 7am for another doctor’s appointment.

Soooo I came downstairs and got a quilt trimmed and ready for binding, another one loaded on the longarm and ready for quilting, and after resting a while (and knitting), I should get that binding on and ready for hand stitching.

I was going to also start sewing the blocks on the design wall together but I think if I have more time down here today, I’ll get the borders added to this top of Valerie’s to make it larger and then it will be ready to go on the longarm next.

  1. That teal and brown will make beautiful borders on the quilt. I’m glad you are feeling up to doing a little knitting AND a little sewing.

  2. Love your choices for the borders. Nice colors. Keep up the fight, Mary and hope you and Keith have a Merry Christmas.
