2025

I’ve been setting up my new database for 2026 and that involves reviewing what was accomplished in 2025. Not bad considering all the health challenges

As you know I do finish group quilts too so the numbers with a * include those.

  1. Holy Cow!! You are unbelievable how much you accomplished in 2025. Each year I see your tally and am impressed, but with your health issues in 2025, I’m even more in awe. Send me some of that energy, I surely need it 😊

  2. Amazing Mary! Never downplay all that you have accomplished. You have helped so many people by your giving and your determination to quilt and crochet even when you’re not feeling well. Here’s to a great year with complete healing and strength.

  3. You have been a busy girl the past year and so many finishes is amazing! Well done Mary. Nowadays I only sew smaller items for charity, gifts etc, but my old machine stopped working recently after 40 years. Nobody in my city does repairs/services so I treated myself to a new one. I was happy to buy a new one anyway as I wanted an up/down needle function, the serpentine stitch, and alphabet stitch (my old machine also had alphabet). It’s a BROTHER FS100WT and arrived yesterday. Can’t wait to start using it 🙂

  4. Oh my gosh – those are great accomplishments. I am a firm believer in lists and giving yourself credit for the “Done List” and not stressing out on the “To Do” list. Wonderful job! We are ready for 2026! January 4 – list those great “Done Items” and keep trucking. It is going to be a great year. I will turn 77 this year and love the ability to meet each new challenge. Bless us all.

  5. Lesley – that is wonderful. A fun new machine. I see lots of great charity and gift items being created!

  6. I am amazed at your accomplishments. Congratulations. Wishing you the best in this new year.

  7. Tracking is fun. I started awhile ago when Mary from Country Threads issued a UFO challenge. Haven’t been very successful to crossing much off my list, but at least I have a list and Mary has started the challenge again for 2026 so hoping to have some success this year. I also keep a puzzle list and a books read list.

  8. Wow, Mary, that’s a wonderfully huge amount of creative accomplishment, and joy in the making and giving! I’m glad you keep a record through your blog.
I’ve begun taking photos of my projects.

  9. Isn’t it satisfying to see that list at the end of the year? My 2026 spreadsheet is all set up, but I still need to finish my UFO list for 2026 priorities.
