A lot of us are under warnings thanks to the winter storm heading our way. We’re in the red … and expect to be stuck at home and unable to leave for at least a couple days … just hoping we don’t lose power that whole time. I do have plenty of yarn to keep me busy if I can’t sew BUT we won’t have any heat.
Stay safe!

With weather patterns shifting and getting worse, a back up portable generator should be a part of everyone’s household.
You stay safe, Mary. Here in OR, so far, only cold weather, no storms. We could use some rain.
We’re in the single digits here in SW Ohio. We’re to expect 9-12″ or more snow by Monday noon. We have plenty of food and nowhere we need to be, so as long as the power stays on, we’re good. With 3 dogs, let’s hope we don’t have to go to a hotel to be warm!
It’s cpld here today -18 C but no snow until tomorrow evening. Going to get much colder though.. Generators as a backup, are like milk and bread here in the very rural parts of Nova Scotia. Stay as safe and warm as possible everyone. This too shall pass.
Fingers crossed you don’t loose power 🙂
We are in the moderate area. Sometimes it’s better than expected and sometimes worse. We are ready for it. Hope you all don’t get the worst.
Hopefully you don’t get the ice and cold, but if you do stay safe!! We’ve had bitter cold, but ice is much worse than snow and cold in my opinion as it takes down trees and power lines.
I’m over here in Minnesota where it’s just as cold as they say it is…it’s supposed to be above zero on Tuesday. Hope your stormy weather doesn’t take the power out.
Hope you are warm and safe Mary! We have 6 or 8 inches of snow and are now getting ice, probably a half inch before it’s all done. I have lots of projects lined up as well so will be set, power or not. I may have to start a big afghan just so I can snuggle under it! ❤️
