It’s a yarn and paper day … some progress made on the tax prep … some crochet this morning and then this afternoon, I finished this variation of William’s Chemo Hat.

You can find the original pattern on the Knots of Love site at this link … I follow the pattern except for the body of the hat where I just knit rows 1 and 2 until it’s about 6+ inches and then decrease per the pattern.
When I was at the oncologist’s office on Tuesday I asked if they’d like me to donate more hats. They were very happy and said yes … that the patients love mine saying they were nice and soft and they felt great so I’ll take another batch when I go back.

Your hats are lovely and I’m sure people appreciate them. In this cold weather, people want to wear caps to preserve heat.
Mary, you bring happiness to so many!!!
Mary, you pick beautifully colored yarn. These solids are so wearable. I enjoy the variety of the patterns also. What are your favorite soft yarns?
What a great group of hats! I love the saturated, rich colors- perfect for either gender. It reminds me to start knitting faster 🙂
The fact that your hats are special to people in a tough place. Special gifts mean a lot.
Your hats are lovely, you are a special and caring woman always caring for others
