Finished

Another Little Quilt finished today. Quilted this afternoon and the binding was stitched down tonight.

Simple grid quilting with the walking foot … it’s what I do on these here in VA for the most part although I have done some hand quilting on them in the past … I have one in this batch that I want to hand quilt but we’ll see if it gets done this trip. I head to Newport News for a couple days tomorrow morning.

I did some more critter hunting on the way to Mass with Mom. Keith dropped us off and Kevin met us there. Then we had dinner, a Five Crown’s game, and some birthday cake at Kevin’s.

Finn isn’t a fan of game night because we’re sitting around the table instead of cuddling with him but he was a good boy!

  1. Sounds like an easy comfortable time for everyone. Family is like that. Happy birthday Kevin. I know you have cuddled with Finn to make up for his miserable evening. He pushed his nose under your arm and shared his sadness. Love his expressive eyes.

  2. Yesterday an email came in and it was about half log cabin blocks. And the first one was from you! And here Finn is on a chair with a
beautiful quilt similar to what was in the email. It’s great your family gets together and has card games. Enjoy your stay.

  3. I love the quilt behind Finn. Is that pattern available?. Enjoy your visit. It is wonderful to see the quilting time with your mom.

  4. Five Crowns is a fun card game. Very cute little duck to go with that little quilt. You’ve reminded me that I have a couple little quilts waiting to be quilted.
