We got home late afternoon yesterday and I headed straight to bed … no sleep the night before and I was exhausted!
Today I’m taking it easy. The trip was great – spending time with family and friends but more activity that I’ve been used to for a while.
After sleeping late … I’m spending the afternoon crocheting and listening to my audiobook. This linen stitch blanket is close to being done….

And I just started a new audiobook. I found out about this series on Vicki’s blog and have really enjoyed it over the last several years.

Tonight, I’ll keep crocheting and watch the Lightning game!
Glad you made it home safely. I’m like you, I get pretty tired way too easy. I find I take a short nap in my recliner when there’s a quiet spot watching TV.
He is a favorite of ours. I love the depth of his characters. He has transitioned through a lifetime and it has been done well. I haven’t read this one but we are currently reading one we missed somehow.
I too, love William kent Krueger books. Hard to put down. Love all the details. Glad your safely home .
Travel is always fun……and exhausting. Welcome home!
I’m reading this series, too, and I’m enjoying it. Happy to hear you got home safely.
Home is always the best! Your blanket is beautiful!! Blessings!
I loved all of Kent Kruger’s books. He’s such a good writer. Enjoy!
William Kent Krueger stand alone books: This Tender Land; Ordinary Grace; The River We Remember. Loved all of these but for some reason couldn’t get into the Cork O’Connor books. Enjoy!
After reading everyone’s reviews I went to Libby and requested this book… Of course I will have to wait several months to reach the top of the wait list.
Glad the trip home went well! I always love a linen stitch blanket. Be sure to check out Krueger’s stand-alone books too. They are beautiful novels. This Tender Land is my favorite.
