Thanks to Vicki, I had another elephant so when I went to the novelty scrap bin today … this print jumped out at me and I quickly sewed up a little quilt top. Isn’t this elephant perfect for it?!?!

I’ll be heading back to Va in about 5 and a half weeks and I’ll need some Little quilts to work on so that’s one of my goals.
Working on group quilts is another goal … this was one that was sent to me by Barb in AZ… she sent that last border with the top and I got it sewn on today.

As I also mentioned … I will also focus on my knitting and crochet. I’ve had so much positive feedback from my chemo hat donations that I know I need to keep knitting and donating them… so another hat was started today.

I’m finding that the Heartland yarn is my favorite for these hats. It works up so soft!
After my time downstairs in the sewing room Keith took me on a date… a little hard cider and some music.

What gorgeous purple yarn! And such a cute elephant to go with the elephant print.
That top under the needle reminded me of “Crazy By Design”‘s quilt top “Groovy Guitars” (https://cathyscrazybydesign.blogspot.com/2018/08/groovy-guitars-finished-at-last.html). Have you ‘met’?
I can only hope the temperatures were high enough that those singers were comfortable in their hot pants and leather boots!
