So cool , I too have some ancestors there. We have a daughter that took up playing the bag pipes. She is in her 50’s and enjoys it very much. Happy St Patrick’s day
Ancestors on my side have been here a while. Paul’s Italian ancestors immigrated in the 1900s thru the 1920s. Some close relatives after WWII.
Maybe we will celebrate St Joseph’s day for his heritage. I am kind of remembering Aunt Celia telling stories of celebrating after the Irish.
Happy St Patrick’s Day!! The wedding photo is really special. I always thought I wasn’t Irish at all – until I got my DNA results back. Turns out I do have Irish immigrant ancestors. Not quite as recent as yours, but a couple of 3x great grandparents.
