Walking

A quiet day today … Keith and Finn dragged me out for a walk and then I read and knit pretty much the rest of the day.

It was warm today and kind of felt like summer … it’s March and you never know what the temps are going to be!

Tomorrow, I’ll spend a good bit of time going to an appointment to get my port out. The hospital is about an hour away and they have you get there pretty early for the appointment.

  1. Sounds like getting your port out is a step in the right direction. Have loved your attitude through all the health difficulties you have had. Wish you the very best for the future.

  2. Congratulations on having your port removed. When I had my removed, the nurse told me it was graduation day. Fourteen years later, I still remember her telling me that. Take care and prayers are with you, Mary.

  3. Looks like your hair is growing back – hope you don’t get sunburnt without a hat x

  4. I’m glad you were able to get out in the good weather. March has sure been strange this year hasn’t it?
Hope everything goes well today. Take care Mary.

  5. Getting the port out is a good step forward. I can see your hair is coming in again. All such good signs of recovery for you. Keep taking good care of yourself.

  6. I happy for you that you are able to have the port removed. Remember one day at a time, you accomplish so much, and you are still recovering.

  7. The weather here in Saskatchewan Canada has been crazy this winter, like a roller coaster, spring rains or summer sun one day and cold winter with some snow the next day. It’s always good to get out and enjoy the weather on the nice days. Glad to hear that you are getting the port removed today, hope it goes well.

  8. I pray the port removal is uneventful and you continue on this great road to recovery.
