Brunch with Mom, then a visit to the quilt shop … and after dropping her off, a visit to a new coffee shop.

Then we dropped Finn off at my brother’s house – he agreed to watch him a couple nights while we go up to DC to visit Arlington National Cemetery… so dinner out with them … a sunset on the way back to the apartment but first we met for some ice cream too!

Sounds like a day worth remembering. A visit to Arlington is always sobering.
Ah, I know Kline’s! It was the perfect way station on numerous trips back and forth to high school sports state tournaments when my husband was coaching. Stop the van, unload 8 kids, hit the bathroom while they stood in line, paid for everyone and back on the road with a peach milkshake slightly sticky always.
