Yes, another Little Quilt top pieced today. I’m actually enjoying digging in the novelty scrap bin and coming up with some of these.
It’s hard to find dog stuffies in the right size but I think this Sloth will work with this one. I’d already done 2 Rail ones this week so I decided I’d do some 9 patches with these three little pieces of leftover novelty fabric. Then I decided to stagger them so they weren’t all in a row straight across.
It’s kind of fun coming up with a design to use these leftovers but unlike some of my fellow HeartStrings quilters, my scrap bins won’t be empty any time soon!
I’m also still working on the HeartStrings blocks … a few more done today and now just 6 more to piece and then a stack of them to trim.
Your quilts are always very pretty and creative but I’m starting to think these little animals are catching my attention more. This sloth is precious.
I think the sloth looks cute with these doggies. He may give the child a new animal to research. The movement that that simple stagger added is a nice touch. Love it. Added this to my Want to Make list.
