Yep, I’m celebrating National Cancer Survivor’s Day today … 3 cancers, and numerous treatments but I’m lucky that all my cancers have been treatable and that I was able to celebrate my birthday this past week.
I’m thankful for everyone who supported me through these journeys.

I’ll celebrate with you! I’ve been a survivor for 48 years, and also thank those who supported me, all the doctors and nurses, and the researchers who found treatments.
And we are happy you beat them, too!
So happy for you – a great day to celebrate 🙂
What a beautiful poster with colors to represent all forms of cancer.
Yep, 3 types of cancer behind me and happy to be here. We are truly blessed.
I am scheduling surgery to remove my implants — thanks for giving me the courage. I have struggled for more than 15 years of problems and 7 operations. It is time to try for solutions.
I am very happy to see you celebrated your birthday and have such a great family walking with you. I look forward to reading your posts every day.
Enjoy and may our days be filled with joy and great memories.
I’m not glad you had cancer but I am glad you have had the treatable and survivable variety! 🎉
Happy Birthday and so happy that you can celebrate both, praying you don’t have to go through anymore cancer treatments, 3 is more than enough for anyone to go through.
You are so lucky. So many don’t survive, none of my family did. But cancer research is still going strong in spite of the budget cuts. Hopefully you will be with us enjoying a wonderful life for a long time
lovely poster, I have also had three cancers and I am also grateful that treatment was available. Not so for my husband, though. Teaches you to appreciate
Celebrate indeed! Slayed the monster 3 times and weathered the storms of side effects.
Happy Day Mary!!!
Mary, your post made me cry. My husband lost his battle with cancer. Life is so different now. I am grateful for you and all other survivors. Your positive attitude and unflagging gratitude make you an example for us all.
You have been your own strongest supporter. I believe my neighbor’s philosophy that you have to be the one to decide you can make it and stay happy. I see many others around but you are the best. You are doing great.
Congratulations! I’m also a survivor. I didn’t know that there was a day.
Fifteen years ago today, I was in City of Hope having been diagnosed with Stage 3+ ovarian cancer and awaiting surgery. Through wonderful medical, treatment and many prayers, I feel so fortunate to be here today. Congratulations to you, Mary and stay strong
What a celebration, indeed!
Definitely a reason to celebrate! So happy for you, Mary!
So many blessings having survived 3 bouts of cancer….deserves thrice as much celebration!
You are the survivor of survivors! I celebrate with you!
You are a fighter and a survivor!! Blessing to you!
