Hat #36

Yep another one finished. Keith is into the World Cup games so I pull out my knitting in the evening and watch them with him.

This is a variation that Stephanie shared with me of William’s Chemo hat found free on the Knots of Love site at this link.

I got downstairs today and got a binding on and then hand stitched it down tonight – I’ll snap a photo tomorrow. That’s another finish for the day.

And … I’m liking making these Warm up America blanket sections with some leftover yarn – 3 more made today. Just 4 so far but I can see it becoming another obsession!

You can do a search for patterns for these … there are a few on the Warm up America site but I also found this site that I’ve been checking out.

  1. Love the hat colour. Nice to see the different crochet patterns, not all the same, for variety.
Will Keith be watching the England game tomorrow? I think we will lose against Mexico. Bit of a farce at the moment with kick-off time – hopefully the weather stays calm. PM Starmer has said pubs can stay open until 5am to let people watch it – I think a lot of people won’t be at work later haha.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY to you both 🙂

  2. I’m always looking for a useful way to keep my hands busy while I watch TV. This looks like another really good way to contribute to a cause, and one that’s within my limited wheelhouse. And what a great resource you’ve found! Who knows? I might even learn some new stitches while I’m at it! Thanks once again, Mary, for broadening my horizons.

  3. Especially when your crochet stitches are so well-practiced, even and beautiful❣️
