I had a treat last night after dinner … two Mennonite women were in front of me in the line at Kline’s and just spontaneously treated me. Very kind!
This morning, I’m also enjoying Ice Cream… I’ve been watching the tour and knitting or crocheting in the evenings and wanted to catch up on my audiobook so I pulled out the new blanket being stitched with LionBrand Ice Cream yarn and got to work.

I’ve crocheted with this yarn a number of times over the years but one thing I’ve learned is to stick with the single colorways … I don’t really think the other ones turn out as nice. Of course I’m sure I’ve got more of them in stash but I’m only restashing the single colorways.

I’d read the Harry Bosch books years ago but was surprised when he showed in this new series I was listening to. I’ve been enjoying it.

I’m heading over to Mom’s soon and should have another Little Quilt binding finished this afternoon.
Question, isn’t LionBrand Ice Cream yarn DK weight? I have purchased so much yarn online that I thought was worsted weight, only to see upon arrival that it was DK.
Mary, I really like the multi colored yarn, my preference. I saw the guy who plays Harry Bosch as a bad guy in a movie last week and thought No Way! .
There is a series on Netflix (I believe) called “Ballard” with both characters from the two book lines written by Michael Connelly, and it’s excellent! Highly recommend. I did a little crocheting when I was young, just getting started really, and always wanted to take it up again. I wouldn’t do blankets (I’ve been a quilter for 50+ years) but I’d love to make beanies, baby hats & booties. It’s on my ‘to do’ list but seeing what I have going in the quilt room I am beginning to realize I’ll never get to that!
