Thanks for all the feedback on the Michael Connelly books. I’m planning to read this series next. Or should I say I’m going to listen to it.

I love borrowing audiobooks from the library using Libby and I am also able to check out the new quilting magazines. I don’t buy them anymore … there’s not a lot in them these days that I want to make but sometimes a quilt will inspire me so it’s nice to be able to look through them without paying for them!

If you don’t use your library’s digital books and magazines you should check it out.
Connelly is one of my favorite writers. And the films/tv series made based on them are also very entertaining.
Oh I feel the same way about the magazines! It’s also neat that you can click on links in the magazine articles (if they reference something).
The Connelly books are great – he does such a good job developing consistent characters and intricate story lines. And we have enjoyed watching the TV series based on the Lincoln Lawyer series as well as the Bosch series.

I did not know about my library’s “Libby” app, thanks!
The Lincoln Lawyer series on Netflix is excellent! I have no idea tho if it follows the book.
I’ve enjoyed Michael’s books, some more than others. His characters are very down to earth.
Have you tried Daniel Silva or Ted Bell? “Phantom” by Ted Bell is especially worth listening to.
I also recommend, “The Boys in the Boat”, “Flags of our Fathers”, and anything by David McCullough. Thanks for sharing.
