Wow, I’ve been here a week already and haven’t shared any photos of Mom yet. We’ve been out and about some but a good bit of our time together is spent sitting and talking while we bind little quilts.

We’re also working on getting fabrics ready for me to help her kit up more of them. She’s so fast all the ones I kitted last trip have been quilted and are finished or just waiting for the binding to be done. As you can see she’s still very active and productive.

Love the posts you share with your visits with your mom – so many wonderful memories for both of you.
Hi Mary,
Your mother looks great! You are so blessed to be able to see her as often as you do and share the quilt making process and conversations.
I love the little quilts and stuffed animal coordinations. Im sure the recipients are very appreciative of your thoughtfulness and craftiness too!

Love that Mom is doing well and you keep us updated. I hope you are doing good and things are going smooth. Take care and be kind to yourself
Love that smile. Many of the members of the guild I belong to are your Mom’s age, including me. Quilt on…. !
I’m sure your mom enjoys being with you as much as you enjoy being with her. She looks healthy and happy!
I’m 80 now and just got a huge quilt off my long arm and another king is going on to be quilted soon. My grandson is getting married in one month and it better be finished! So I’m hoping when I’m your mother’s age, I’ll be at my machine sewing too. She looks great!
The smiles tell a wonderful story. You both seem to share them easily and your whole face of not your whole body smile.
