I’ve been working on this one a long time but the top is finally assembled and is 2nd in line for quilting.

I’ve got to get it finished up in time to take to the Maine sew-in next month so it can be donated there in Bev’s honor.
I also packed up a box of finished quilts that I’ll ship off to Brenda tomorrow after my cardiology appointment. It’s #3 of 6 doctors appointments I have these first 2 weeks I’m back home. I swear, this is a full time job going to all these specialists!
I agree with your doctor state ment. Between Paul and I at least 2 evevery week lately. Three or 4 are possible. We are trying to get them out of the way for a while.

Fantastic job on this quilt! I find it hard to get everything to line up on a string quilt.
When I was living with/caring for my parents, a day without an appointment seemed like a luxurious vacation!
That quilt is beautiful! I have been making red , white and blue quilts for Christmas. My sister has an embroidery machine and is making me” 250 ” labels. I have had tests this week too, so far so good. I have had cancer twice so it is good to have them be ok and then I move on. I hope yours are all good too.
I do love that string pattern. This one is gorgeous! I guess it must be a sign of our aging when we have so many appointments. I hope all of your appointments go well. Our regular doctor retired in Jan 1, and his clinic folks all moved into a different building in town. My husband is showing his “grumpy old man” side the last 2 weeks because he had to choose a new doctor, and then actually see him in person in order to renew his 2 prescriptions. And they even made him do the full labs, etc. He was so indignant. LOL
