This one was loaded and ready to go and since I didn’t have an appointment today … it got quilted. It’s a bed size version of my PLUS 3 quilt and a UFO.
Pantograph is Flounce!

After that, I needed to rest. I thought I was going to weave the ends in the Linen Stitch blanket but when I pulled it out, I realized I still have to crochet the border so it will wait a while longer.

It will get done sooner rather than later unlike this scarf that I found in a bin several days ago … I don’t even remember working on this one and it’s almost finished. I’m not sure of the pattern either but it looks like it’s just stockinette stitch so I should be able to finish and donate it. The pattern might even be in the book I also found in the bag. I hate to think how many unfinished knit or crochet projects might be hiding in bins!

Anyway I worked on more Warm Up America sections for a while and then we went on a date. First up was a beer on Main street right next to a Mexican place that has a 3 piece group that always plays on Wednesday. They often roam around outside but if I don’t see them, I go inside the restaurant and they follow me over and play for us!

Well, I love this quilt and pattern and I believe this will be my next quilt. I just finished a quilt as a gift and it’s not really my colors but this one will be bright and cheerful. I think those musicians were happy to follow you!
Lovely quilt! I love plus quilts – I have 2 quilt tops that are plus quilts that are in line to be finished….I will finish those 2 next! LOVE the expression on your face — you obviously really enjoy the music, and they (by the looks on their faces) are thrilled to perform for you both! How wonderful! Deb
Those sneaky UFOs! The musicians following you picture- priceless! and started my day with a giggle!
Those UFO’s have babies when we are not looking. You look so happy and great in the picture of the musicians following you. I hope you are feeling as well as you look in the picture. I think I need to make that quilt; I have a bin of 2and1/2 strips of patriotic fabric looking for 2 or 3 quilts made from them. Perhaps after I finish the 7 children’s quilts that I committed to that are leaving to go to Kenya at the end of September.
Your life-loving grin makes me smile so wide!
Carolyn
What a cute quilt! You are really on a roll.
They know you enjoy the music and musicians thrive on appreciation. Date nights are so fun. Good times.
