Today was productive. There was piecing … I finished the rest of the Happy Blocks from Charm Squares … knowing me, it will sit on the design wall for a while but with any luck I’ll get it assembled before I go to Maine.

I crocheted a couple Warm up America sections … and then I went in and got the binding on the Plus 3 ready to stitch down. I started hand stitching the binding this afternoon and finished it tonight. I’ll get a photo of the finished quilt tomorrow.

I’ve had one of Valerie’s tops out … I’d sewn one border on it a while ago and when I was digging in the turquoise fabrics I grabbed this one thinking I could add another one on the top and bottom to make this one lap size. I haven’t cut or sewn it yet but just 2 borders will be quick.

Next up on the to do list …

I need to get a top loaded on the longarm and ready to quilt – my RWB Sharon inspired HeartStrings top.

Piece a little quilt top or two and start cutting some kits for Mom. Knowing her, she’ll have the ones I cut for her done the next time I see her at the end of September and she will be ready for more kits!

Keep working on the current crochet and knitting projects … a couple hats, a couple blankets, and the Warm up America sections!
