My RWB Sharon inspired HeartStrings quilt is done. I finished hand stitching the binding down this afternoon and now I have 3 more donations to take to Maine with me next week.
I met Barb for lunch today – she’s the woman from the local guild that I first contacted about donating quilts here when we bought the house in Big Canoe. We enjoyed our lunch together and it was fun learning more about each other. On the way, I saw our back yard visitors as I turned on to the main road. It always worries me to see the wildlife so close to the road!!
I can see that our little fawn is starting to lose his spots!

That is a beautiful quilt. I think I’ll have to make one of these in the near future. We see our wildlife awfully close to the road/street here too. I always worry about the fawns when we have any long stretches without seeing them.
They are going to love having this quilt!
