No Ads!

There’s nothing worse than trying to browse blogs or sites where ads pop up non-stop and make it hard to find the content you are looking for.

I get emails from Pinterest and my quilts show up in them fairly often. Sometimes I go take a look.

Seeing a photo of my Dutch Windmills reminds me that I want to made this one again. I love how it turned out.

I’ll save you the hassle of fighting the ads – my brief instructions can be found on my website at this link.

I frequently get emails from individuals and companies offering me opportunities to make money by adding Ads to my sites … NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!

  1. I so appreciate the fact that you don’t have ads — it really makes the visit to your blog so much more enjoyable! Thank you VERY much for sharing your Dutch Windmill tutorial — I’m going to make several baby quilts using that pattern to go into the totes with the other generational quilts I’m making for our family. Really appreciate it! You write a very clear, concise and easily understood pattern! Deb

  2. People don’t always get that money is not everyone’s only motivation. A coworkers dad who was in his 80s tutored math students to help those not well prepared. The college he was helping wanted to set up a paid for tutoring class to track the students and open it to all students up to a limited number. He refused because the kids he was helping couldn’t afford it and wouldn’t come because they were embarrassed to show how poor their math skills actually were. Money isn’t everything.

  3. You got this one right. Definitely takes all of the interest, joy, whatever you can fine on the computer not worth the effort.
