Back on the road again. We’re breaking the trip to Maine into 3 days of driving and we made it from VA to New Jersey today. Tomorrow we get to the place we rented for the month in Maine.
Finn is ready to chill and so am I before we head out to dinner with Keith’s friends!

Woof–I remember that drive (NJ to Florida, then MD to Florida). It’s not fun, despite the South of the Border billboards.

Well, certainly NOT your exact route, but I remember the tediousness. Add a couple of youngsters to the mix–it’s not exactly happy memories (although, there were some laughs that’ll stay with us until we die!)
We drove to Colorado last month and also divided it into 3 nights and 4 days. Traffic seems to be really crazy and Missouri had 55 completely under construction. Hope you have a great trip the rest of the way.
I like breaking long trips into shorter pieces, with the opportunity to stop and see something new along the way. My husband prefers to just drive until he gets to his destination. This might be the reason we rarely take any road trips these days. LOL Enjoy your trip to Maine, and the month there.
