Don’t tell Mo!!!
Michaels is having a yarn sale and I tossed aside my resolution to just use the yarn I have as instruction by Mo and filled up my online shopping cart. It’s a good thing they’re shipping this to the house as I’m sure there wouldn’t be room in the car.
I will get 10 blankets, 8 hats, and who knows how many Warm up America sections from the leftovers from this order.

I really do need to work faster – luckily another hat is almost done … worked on it last night while we listened to the Lightning WIN again.
So I knit during the game and this one napped!

Don’t mind the sheets … we were asked to cover the furniture because of Finn. He doesn’t shed and Keith is more likely to spill something than Finn is to dirty it but since Keith is treating it like a bed sheets are a good thing 🙂
It looks like you bought all of my favorites. Isn’t it fun. I did a big on line yarn purchase through lionbrand.com a few years ago. 😉
I did the exact same thing this morning – stocked up on Caron Big Cakes. I already have enough Loops & Threads Soft Classic for blankets to keep me busy. One thing I’m not liking with respect to is ordering online is that they are not that great with dye lots. If I order 3 skeins, two dye lots match and one will be significantly off. So much so that I can’t make a solid color blanket with it. I have to introduce other colors to make stripes to hide the color variance.
12 pack Big Cakes – that will keep you busy for a few weeks 🙂
You bought yarn and I bought fabric. Neither of us need what we bought but it was a bargain or something I couldn’t find at home. While we are on the way home from Canada I like to stop in Michigan at a store that carries indigenous fabric. (Quilted Oak) The store owner was clearing out the panels from last year at $5.00 so I purchased two of each that featured animals. I also purchased half yards of any of the prints designed by indigenous artists. These fabrics will be used in Quilts for Survivors.
But the yarn! At the rate you knit/crochet, you will have this all used up in no time. Love the color choices. I cover the couch when we rent as well- I’m always afraid I’ll spill something too 🙂
It’s hard to pass up a good deal. You know you’ll use it in no time. Covering the furniture is probably a really good idea. I use to do that when the grandkids and dogs were all younger.
Great selections! Vacation naps are the best.
