Today was a stay at home day for the most part but I did get a walk in with Keith and Finn. The refrigerator here at the rental unit had to be replaced. Keith interacted with the delivery people and I stayed in the bedroom with Finn trying to keep him calm. Luckily we’re using some medication the Vet gave us that is helping in times like this so he did settle down.
Tomorrow Keith is going to Pickle! He’s found an indoor facility here that he likes and was able to join just for the month. He’ll get back by 1pm and then I’m going back to the library.
I went ahead and subscribed to Newspapers.com and have been finding some interesting articles and photos of his family including this one. Some local kids …

And Keith couldn’t believe that I’d found his dad with an older cousin … his dad wasn’t even 1 year old and that’s him with “Uncle” Jim. Since his dad was an only child, his children knew his two cousins as “uncles” Keith was pretty surprised years later when I explained they were his dad’s cousins!
It’s been fun diving back into my research of Keith’s family.

What a lovely photo, what a great memory. My daughter has gone back about 400 years on our family tree, using Ancestry and another site. It’s exciting when you find your ‘long lost’ relatives. I never knew my father and she found him 5 years ago, but too late for me to meet him. Found out I had 3 more brothers to add to my sibling list.
I also subscribed to Newspapers.com over the summer and have stumbled onto some interesting things. That is a really fun picture you found. Enjoy more library time!
