It was a busy week getting back from Maine but I’m happy that I got made a lot of progress on my quilting, knitting, and crochet.
I was supposed to go to one of Rae’s softball games this morning but I ended up sending Keith without me. We attended a birthday party for his brother Craig yesterday and I was just too tired to do anything this morning.
It was neat venue for the party especially since his brother is as crazy about pickleball as Keith is and they got to play during the party.

Before I went to the party I did get backing and batting loaded. I don’t usually quilt more than one on a single backing but this time I loaded 120 yards and will get 3 of Valerie’s tops quilted this coming week.

I also got the other 3 quilts trimmed and the binding on one of them and ready to stitch down. Still have 3 more waiting for me to sew the bindings on and 4 little quilts waiting for me to hand stitch the bindings down.
Funny how the more you get done … the more work you create! But I LOVE that I’m making progress on these – that’s 7 quilted so far during my Nov-Jan quilting marathon and yes … 5 of them are little quilts but progress is progress!!
I just have say YOU ARE AMAZING!!! If anyone says you are lazy or when are you going to get something done…you tell them to give me a call. I continue to be amazed at how productive and creative you are. I know that you get as much enjoyment out of your sense of accomplishment as those that receive your gifts, but you are a special lady. Thanks so much sharing your accomplishments with me.
