I’m trying to get my daily step average back over 10,000 but I’ve got two trips this month so it’s going to be tough.
We decided to have an early dinner while we were out – it’s 5.5 miles (roundtrip) to the little outdoor restaurant we like.
Of course, more walking means less sewing but I did get the binding stitched down on the small doll quilt yesterday and maybe tomorrow I’ll get the binding sewn down on the Ladybug Drunkard’s Path.
Dinner outdoors is the reward for the walk. I was hoping to eat supper out on our deck tonight, but by supper time the wind had come up and it was spitting rain. So our first outdoor meal of the season will have to wait.
I feel you pain with trips. Just got back from a road trip and too many days were spent sitting in the car. I had a great January and March, February and April not so much. But I still averaged 10275 a day. Not sure how that happened, but just got home last night. Time for me to get back to it.
Me too, this winter was not a good thing in the great Northeast. Gonna work harder at it this week!
Walking is great exercise. With my bum knee, I’d be hobbling after one mile.
