I haven’t done much this weekend other than knit, swim, and sit on the porch but we did cook both nights. My diet is a bit challenging and a bit bland (no condiments or sauces, no prepared foods) but Keith grilled burgers tonight – mine was plain, no cheese, no condiments … but I fixed some corn on the cob and sweet potato fries to go with it. I don’t talk about cooking a lot but I use my Instant Pot and Air Fryer all the time and since I can have potatoes and sweet potatoes … they’ll come in handy.
It’s easy to peel and cut a couple sweet potatoes, spritz them with some olive oil and toss them in the air fryer.
We were out in the pool for a while until the thunder started up so we moved to the porch. We don’t sit out there as much during the summer but it was perfect today and no mosquitoes!
I cast on a new scarf last night… I love this drop stitch scarf I made a few years ago but wanted one in a more neutral color.
Unfortunately, this brand of yarn is discontinued but I found this “neutral” purple for sale on Ravelry and bought it. I’ve started knitting but it will take a while.
Your scarf looks lovely, I wish I could knit like you. Your front porch looks inviting to me.
I have one skein of Blue Heron, but not beaded. Off to check out this scarf pattern…
I love the drop stitch scarf! What is the name of the pattern and where did you find It. I would love to do one.
