Next on our “to do” list – start cutting for Mom’s schoolhouse quilt and load and quilt another one of her tops. After I got the cutting done, Mom sewed the background piece to the grass and started fusing the blocks.

The schoolhouses were cut using my GO die.

After getting her to the point she could work on the blocks, I loaded and started quilting another one of her tops. It’s a free pattern on the Accuquilt site and the dogs in the border were cut using one of their dies.

Great job. She must be feeling a lot better. I love the friendship stars.
It’s fun to see you and your Mom working together as well as the visit from your sons and your grandchildren.
What is the Go die? You seem to use it a lot to cut pieces. Your Mom is so cute and looks very focused on what she is doing.
My mother is not creative at all. She only wanted to go shopping and eat out. This is so cool to see the 2 of you working together at something you enjoy. Like your own mini retreat. Pet Finn. Could you share a picture of the dog quilt when your done? Thanks.
