I can’t resist sharing this photo … Finn has such a fun personality. He still has a lot of rambunctious puppy in him but he can also cuddle up with me for hours in the evening while I knit or crochet. He also has a demanding side … can’t you hear him telling me to give him his dinner NOW?!
We both said that we weren’t getting another dog after Chesty died and our lifestyle with all the travel certainly makes it a challenge but Finn is such a blessing and it feels like it was always meant for him to be a part of our family.

Your little dog is charming. We’re lost our first- ever small dog, a schnauzer mix, 2 years ago and are about ready to start looking for another little guy. Eddie was hilarious and loving, demanding and hammy, and we have no hope of finding a replacement, but I think we’re ready to welcome another little guy into our pack. We miss having that sweet little body all snuggled up next to us in the evenings, and staring us awake in the morning.
Cute dog. We said we would not have more dogs after Junior, but here I am with a pit/boxer mix and two Min Pins. Travel is impossible. I don’t have anyone to take care of them and can’t afford to board 3 dogs.
I have 4 rescues and they take up a great deal of our time. All four have different personalities, it’s just like having children. I can’t imagine life without them. The two oldest are now 12 and 13 and our hearts will break once again when they leave us. After that we will only have older dogs as we are in our 70’s now. Your Finn is precious. Btw: I just made a baby blanket for a soon to be 1 year old named Finn.

Finn has such a cute face and yes, he does look ready for dinner…lol. We have one little dog left of 3. She is now 8 yrs old and has a few problems. But we love her so much and it will be very sad when she goes. Since we are in our 70’s we will not get another dog. Very sad to think about for me especially. I have always had at least one dog since I was 7 yrs old. I’m not sure how I will handle that but I am hoping Sophie will last a few more years so I will have time before I have to deal with it. We also have a parrot that we have had for 18 yrs. He will need to be left to someone in our will as he will outlive us. I don’t like to think about that either. Hugs to Finn!!!
Aww, sweet boy Finn. Sometimes you don’t have a choice about adding a member to your family. They just present themselves and you accept them, be it baby or animal. Dogs just give us unconditional love! He’s so cute a cuddly looking. Our cat comes around at 8:00 pm every night and demands his evening snack. I swear animals can tell time.
You needed him as much as he needed a great home. The cuddles and just love are great return on your time. If you have found a way for him to be well cared for while you are gone, he is well off in the world of pets. You and Keith are wonderful pet owners and thus Finn gladly shares his love with you.

Yes, it IS a challenge to have a dog when traveling. We wondered how fair we were being to our dog when we left for two weeks to go to Detroit last month. Poor dog had just gotten used to us and we were worried he’d feel he’d been abandoned again with us gone. So far I can’t see that there were any repercussions but I don’t want to board him again for awhile…
