I didn’t feel up to much after a difficult night but I did manage to sew a little while. The light/dark HeartStrings blocks are all sewn into rows. Normally I sew these into larger 4 block sections first but it just seemed easier to work on one row at a time tonight.

I also started another hat – Chris wanted me to make him a couple more and since he’s coming back for the children’s Gasparilla parade in a couple weeks I thought I’d get started on the second one.
I’m glad that you’re feeling a little better!
Lovely heartstrings project!! Happy you are starting to feel better–hugs, Julierose
Glad you felt well enough to sew a little and happy you have some hats to work on since they are less physically taxing. Hoping the progress in feeling better continues.
It’s amazing that we are still recovering but our quilting and crafts hop right back into our lives. I have two days of meds left and I’m really hoping next week will be a good one. Let’s hope you are back to normal too. Being sick over the holidays was really crappy.
This beautiful string quilt stops me dead in my tracks every time I get a glimpse of it!
Glad you are feeling better. It’s been over 3 weeks, and I’m still coughing, mostly at night. Whatever this “bug” is, it’s a downer for sure. Love the String quilt top! Different, and beautiful with the lights and darks.
One of the variations that I haven’t done but it’s really a beauty.
Glad you felt like sewing for a little while. Seems like it takes so much out of us when you have influenza or some of the other respiratory crud going around.
Dang, I’m sorry you’re so ill. I hope you’re well soon!
So sorry you are still not feeling up to par. Be careful with this flu, it can turn into pneumonia so you might want to make a trip to the doctor. Love that quilt, beautiful color combination! Take care!!
Glad you are feeling better!
