I’ve bought a number of glass pieces from Vicki, a couple bowls, a couple ornaments, and slumped bottles … I love using them by my coffee maker but somehow my clumsy husband has managed to break both of the ones I had so I ordered two more. One for here in Tampa and one to take to GA with me.

Besides fabric, glass things are “my thing” This is fabulous! Love the color! BTW… do’t feel bad. My DH is DEATH on glass goods, too!

Once upon a time a friend made what she called a slumped bottle from one of my favorite wine bottles. It was both beautiful and functional with remembrance of an occasion thrown in.

On my comment I did not mention i love your quilt designs and hope to make some of them to try and use up some of my stash and scraps but my confidence level of picking fabric from my stash is low.
Thanks for all your inspitation.

I love those slumped bottles. My daughter received a really pretty one as a house-warming gift from her realtor when she bought her first house. It even had some painted vines and things. I haven’t seen it at her house in years so maybe hers got broken too. Glad you could replace yours.

I made one of those in a glass class I attended. I used an old wine bottle I had kept that was really pretty. It turned out so nice I ended up giving it to my son and daughter-in-law. I always intended to make another one for me but we know how that goes. I just might need to order one. Thanks for the link!
