Quilted

My turquoise Sharon inspired HeartStrings top is quilted with a swirly version of Dwirling from the Pajama Quilter DVD. I loved freehand quilting this one. So easy and it looks great on my HeartStrings quilts. This is #14 quilted for December.

I want to use more of my scraps in 2021 so I decided to pull a group of them to take to Big Canoe. I just don’t seem to have enough time to precut and kit projects when I’m here in Tampa so I gathered these up and pulled my 6 and 3 inch HST dies and we’ll see what I can come up with.

All ready to go to Big Canoe. The larger green bin stays open and I drop supplies and projects in it that also go to Big Canoe on the next trip.

  1. Your quilts are all so pretty. Someone will love them. These are the type of quilts that I like to make too.

  2. Happy Christmas Mary. stay safe. I know it is a hard time for so many to be separated from family, but we have made it so far and saved so many lives by staying apart. 2021 will get better when the effects of the vaccines kick in. Here’s hoping Christmas 2021 will be an over-the-top Christmas for everyone with families everywhere reunited .

  3. Your quilt is gorgeous. I have many of those autumn fabrics in my stash. One of these days I’ll make the quilt I have planned for these fabrics. Have a Merry Christmas. We were notified yesterday that we could get the vaccine so I put my name on the list. Schools in our state are in group1B and we might receive it in January with the second dose 28 days later.

  4. Love the turquoise in your quilt and beautiful stitching. I am still working on Christmas projects but that’s okay, there is always next year to gift them to someone. Have a wonderful Christmas!!
