I can be a bit boring …. when I find a yarn and pattern combination that I love, I tend to repeat it. It’s time to start another blanket and I pulled some yarn from my bin and got started.
- Pattern – Blanket Stitch – found free on Ravelry
- Yarn – Lion Brand – Big Scoop Ice Cream, colorway is blueberry
- Hook size – H
- Chained 150

I’ve already made one of these in yellow…

And in pink so I know it will turn out great!

You can never be boring!! You’re such an inspiration to all of us. Funny thing, I started my 3rd one last night also since you first made the yellow one. I use Bernat Pop. That Blueberry is really pretty.
I really like the blue yarn and your pattern is so pretty. I need to pull out my kit that I bought last year, but didn’t get very far, it’s a little more complicated than I thought. Looking at your pictures of your hikes makes me envious!
Such a pretty start to your next crocheted blanket, Mary!
Pretty but colors allow for a masculine owner!
When you find a pattern that works so well, why change? Love those soft blues.
I found a knitted baby blanket pattern on Ravelry called Sunny. I love this pattern and how it works up in a cotton/acrylic yarn. I think I’ve made it four or five times. I like how the yarn you are using works up.
Boring? Not a chance! The blankets are colorful and so pretty.
I love this yarn. I have made about 10 blankets with it. My sister and I have been combining it with a matching Pound of Love and using a large hook to make the blankets go faster.
I am doing a doll blanket out of the pink , Ice Cream Big Scoop , I love how it works up , 2 granddaughters who are sisters so need two finished at the same time !!!
Never boring. Like your blue yarn. The yarn colours make them all look different.
I love the blanket stitch and it’s perfect for that yarn. How many balls of that yarn do you use?
